About Us

Like many parents, we spent countless hours at the kitchen table helping our elementary aged children with their writing assignments. We were amazed by their creative ideas but noticed how often they struggled to translate those thoughts onto paper. Current writing resources didn't provide enough adaptability or continuous mentoring to help them become the confident writers we knew they could be. As tech entrepreneurs and educators we decided to do something about it!

We searched for solutions—writing apps, tutoring services, online programs—but nothing quite fit what we were looking for. The existing tools either focused too narrowly on grammar and spelling, or they lacked the patient, personalized guidance that makes a great writing tutor so valuable. Most importantly, none of them helped develop the underlying thinking skills that form the foundation of clear communication.

Drawing from our backgrounds in technology and education, we began developing a tool that would combine the best of both worlds: the methodical approach of experienced writing teachers with the adaptability of modern technology. We collaborated with elementary educators to create a learning system that grows with each child.
